The Yabakivou family and community are mourning the sudden loss of Ruveni Yabakivou, affectionately known to loved ones as “Rups,” who passed away far too soon. A beloved son, brother, cousin, uncle, grandson, and friend, Rups leaves behind a legacy defined by warmth, humor, and an unwavering loyalty to those he loved.
Those who knew Rups describe him as a man with a big heart and a gentle soul. His warm smile had a way of lighting up any room he entered, while his sense of humor brought laughter even during life’s more difficult moments. As a brother, he was known for always being there, a steady and caring presence that family and friends could depend on no matter what.
